The Mirror's Whisper is the voice behind the creation.
This is what The Noxious Orchard of Vice has to say:

Once someone told me the definition of Hell: On your last day on Earth, the person you could have been will meet the person you ended up being.

And day by day, you water your Orchard.

With every Habit, Every Vice.

So now, close your eyes and with presence ask, what things am I doing in my daily life that I KNOW will ruin it in the long run? The answer is instantaneous. There it is. You always knew. Maybe it's what you eat. Maybe it's the hours on your phone before sleeping. Maybe it's attitudes. Maybe it's people who surround you. But you asked, and consciously you know! You already know what is keeping you from reaching greater happiness and experience!

But do you change?

No.

You keep watering Your Noxious Orchard of Vice. And you continue. And continue. And the days pass. The months pass. And suddenly it's 2023.

What happened? With the gym? With the Language? With that course? How much did you water the Tree of Habit? It grew a lot. The rope is tightening. This time you realize. You have to stop watering it. You know it's ruining you, but still, you keep succumbing to it.

But do you change? Do you stop watering it? No.

And years go by. Each day taller, more rooted, your Noxious Orchard of Vice. And the rope already cuts off your air. And as time is, the years go. You are 80 and all this time you watered it. You are dissatisfied, you grumble at life. And how can you not grumble if there’s a rope cutting your air?

It’s your last day and you are already hanging by the neck.

You see someone approaching. Wow, how much they look like you. But no. They smile, stand taller, walk with an air of love.

Who knows what that person achieved to walk like that?

You envy them. You hate them.

They look you in the eye and you understand. That person you could have been. But you decided to water Your Toxic Habit.

And with a tear of regret,

you leave this world.

Or, if you have some wisdom, you stop watering Your Noxious Orchard, thank the great Viulet, and by simply ceasing to succumb to those habits you know only kill you and bring nothing but unhappiness and brief disconnection and oblivion, you start to notice how your life improves.

And Your Noxious Orchard of Vice.

dies in the drought.

TESTIMONIALS
"I was an addict for years. Rehab, books, prayers. It always came back. Then this Mirror found me. Every time the urge rose, I looked again. I remembered the rope. The tree. The truth. And I chose differently. Seven months clean. This isn’t just a picture. It’s the first time I saw who I could be. Thank you. You helped save my life." — JAMES “As a mother I gave everything except to myself. I smiled, held it together, numbed the ache when no one was looking. I kept saying after the kids, when things settle down. Inside I was disappearing. I found The Noxious Orchard of Vice. I read the manuscript and I broke. I cried for me. I tattooed the art so I would remember every day. Not to be perfect. To stop watering what was already dead. To return to the woman I buried under responsibility and silence. This artwork didn’t save me. It reminded me I could save myself.” — CLARA “I had never bought art. I didn’t think it was for me. Then I saw The Noxious Orchard of Vice and couldn’t stop thinking about it. It hit like a punch in the chest, but good. Like finally being honest after years of lying. I see different now. Not only the piece. Myself. I don’t have the perfect words, but something shifted. Maybe this is what art is supposed to be. Thank you. ” — PEDRO “I spent years slowly destroying myself and calling it living. The first time I saw this piece, something cracked and then began to breathe. It was not just an image. It was a mirror. Every quiet lie. Every day I chose comfort over courage. I tattooed it on my arm so I can’t look away. Every morning I see it. And it sees me. This is the moment I stopped watering the wrong things. It is a vow. I am better. Thank you. ” — JOAQUIN

A message from Benjamin Viulet

You did not buy an artwork,
You answered a calling.

For inside each of us lives an orchard grown by small betrayals of ourselves. One more excuse. One more delay. One more “tomorrow.” The rope from those roots tightens quietly. This Mirror was made to stand beside that tree.

When you face it, it will not ask for your face. It will ask a simpler question: What are you still watering? It will remind you that the gardener was always you. That the rope loosens the moment the lie stops being fed.

Some days the habit will call you by your favorite name. Some days honesty will feel like loss. Keep choosing anyway. Let the orchard of vice go dry. Water truth instead.

When you arrive, read the Whisper, hold the rope, and make your vow. May this piece mark the season when the tree begins to wither and the person you were meant to be begins to grow.
I see you. I know you. I love you,

Benjamin Viulet

WHY IT’S CALLED A “MIRROR”
This work is meant to reflect you, not your face. The Noxious Orchard of Vice is a daily encounter between your self and the noxious habits you know are slowly hanging you. It does not decorate a wall; it returns you to a choice.
THE MIRROR’S WHISPER
The Whisper is the written text by Benjamin Viulet that carries the philosophical meaning of the artwork. Your Certified Manuscript includes the Whisper and the artist’s signature.
THE MIRROR’S RITUAL
Every Mirror ships with a short activation ritual. For The Noxious Orchard of Vice you receive two ritual cards:
• The Self
• The Orchard
• The Ceremonial Rope
They guide a brief ceremony before hanging.
